Director of Alumni Relations Johnny Isom is our host – and our guest is Class of 2012 alumnus Nicole Kornet. The two discuss Excellence and God's Truth, two of our Warrior Way principles, in this episode.

In this episode, Nicole discusses how she went from Liberty Christian School to working in Space Jam 2 alongside LeBron James (she beat him in a basketball shooting competition … twice!), how she stays true to who she is in her faith, and why she brings Liberty with her wherever she is.

Isom: Nicole, I want to give you the final word for today's show. Share a word of encouragement or scripture with the Warrior community.

Kornet: I mean, you guys are lucky. Liberty is one of my biggest blessings – and still is to this day. For any of you high schoolers out there, I'd say, bring Liberty to wherever you are.

You can still always be that same kid who listens, pays attention, and doesn't have to get into all that trouble to have fun.

I respect people who I know who say no to certain things, or they stand up, or they go to church every Sunday. There are things that I feel like we learned in school that we are called to do and we should be doing them every day, no matter where you are.

It doesn't have to stop at Liberty. You’ve got to continue to do that because the Lord has blessed me and so many people, all of us. And I just think, you know, you have to give it back. And so, I would just encourage you guys, yeah, to bring Liberty wherever you are. It's an awesome place. And yeah, don't try to, you know, pretend like, ‘Oh, it's no big deal.’ No, it's kind of cool. So, hold on to it, folks.
