Education as a Ministry
Jared Mlynczyk

This goes beyond typical school structures and considers pathways and solutions that will produce the greatest outcomes for students.

Every great school has a clear purpose and structure to its existence. At Liberty Christian, it all boils down to training students to impact the world for Christ. This is the essence of the Warrior Way.

So, how exactly do you train students to do just that? To use a sports analogy: just what kind of offense do you run to produce these eternal-impacting results?

At Liberty Christian, students will develop in many areas: biblical worldview, top-notch academics, relevant life experiences, social relationships, service projects, athletics, fine arts, and so on – these are all activities that fill up our daily schedules on the road towards developing leaders in the Kingdom of God.

In order for any fruit to come out of this constant activity and busyness, our team is committed to focusing on the needs of our students and families. Consider Education as a Ministry as our “offensive playbook.”

Fundamentally, it means our faculty and staff are the “living curriculum” of our program, where we model Christ and serve our families the best we can. Our aim is to partner with families to meet the unique needs of each and every student.

Practically, Education as a Ministry values high expectations, relationship-building, strong communication skills, goal setting, reflection and frequent adjustments. It looks like students who may need to be challenged academically or those who need custom solutions in a particular class or subject. It includes opportunities to develop God-given talents or to learn from professionals in a particular field. Education as a Ministry goes beyond typical school structures and considers pathways and solutions that will produce the greatest outcomes for students. We’ll look forward to unfolding more programs and initiatives throughout this school year.

With this mindset, Liberty faculty and staff will make every effort to partner with parents to encourage, develop, and challenge each student. Together, from toddlers to college-bound seniors, we can raise students who glorify God and embody Jesus Christ in all they say and do.
