Dance Team wins fourth state championship in five years!
Staff

Congratulations to the Warrior Dance Team for winning the TAPPS Division III state championship for the 2024-2025 school year!

Our Warriors finished with a 95.50-point total, which narrowly eclipsed St. Agnes Academy in Houston by 0.17 points to place first.

The Liberty Dance Team's victory continues their impressive run of four state titles in the last five school years dating back to the 2020-2021 school year.

The Warriors received numerous individual awards as well, with three students being named to the Division III First Team (Meadow P., Mackenzie J., and Gabrielle W.) and one student being named to the Second Team (Bonnie C).

"This team put their heart and soul into everything they did and it paid off," head coach Rachel Birdett said. "They pushed themselves through countless full outs and practices, day in and day out. I am so grateful for the unity of the girls, and their drive to push just 1% more through each practice and performance. The competitive process is what grows them as dancers, and we are so glad that winning comes as a bonus."

The championship victory by the Dance Team continues an epic run for the Warriors this school year as both the Cheer and Football teams have also claimed state championships.

Congratulations, again, to the Warrior Dance Team!
