Liberty Broadcast wins two distinguished awards!
Staff

This marks the second consecutive year that the Warriors have claimed two NATAS awards.

The Liberty Christian Broadcast Journalism and Reporting program has won two National Academy of Television Arts & Science 2025 awards! Congratulations on this distinguished accomplishment, Warriors!

Liberty's two award-winning productions, which can be viewed below, were the following:

• "Cheer Wins Nationals" by Macie B. and Meadow P.

• “Warrior Homecoming Pregame Show” featuring Macie B., Keathan S., Elizabeth G., Kenzie J., Ella V., Camile D., Meadow P., Bralyn K., and Matt Habern.

This marks the second year in a row that Liberty has claimed two NATAS awards, with last year's honors being the first in school history.

Liberty is the only TAPPS school to win a NATAS award this year. The school received a total of eight nominations by the NATAS Lone Star Chapter, which was the third most trailing only Prosper and Coppell, both of which are 6A public schools.

"I’m so very proud of our students," said program director Krystle Gutierrez. "They show up with enthusiasm and work so hard to be the best at what we do. They are talented and they are smart. That is evident in the fact that they are competing and winning against some of the largest, most resourced broadcast programs in the state.

"There is so much potential for Warrior Nation News to continue to grow and reach more people in our Liberty community while also developing the next generation of broadcasters. I couldn’t be more grateful for this recognition!"
