Class and Lesson Information
We believe another way to learn and grow in your gifts and talents is through private instruction. In whichever lesson a family decides to invest, students will receive the specialized attention they deserve with a well-rounded course of study designed specifically for them to achieve personal and musical goals. Teachers are highly qualified and trained in their particular field. Each has the experience to offer instruction to musicians of any age and skill level. All of our instructors are Christians and believe it is important to encourage their students to grow in their God-given talents.
Regular attendance is crucial to the instruction and success of a musician; therefore, upon registration, music students are assigned a specific teacher and a lesson time will be reserved just for you. Fees for missed lessons are forfeited. Fees listed are per pay cycle and you will be invoiced accordingly.

FAQ
Do I need my own instrument at home?
We supply drums and piano. All others will need to bring their instrument for lessons.
Do I need to bring my own instrument from home?
Yes. All teachers will assign practice for home. A keyboard is fine for piano lessons. (Exception: you may not necessarily need a full drum set for drum lessons.)
What if my child is sick and cannot make his or her lesson?
We ask that you contact the teacher directly (not through the academy director or the school office). All of our teachers are welcome to give you their personal cell phone numbers. Only ONE make up lesson will be offered per term. Fees will be forfeited for any other missed lessons.
What is your attendance/make-up policy?
Your lesson time is reserved especially for you, therefore advanced notice is required for absence from any lesson. Due to our teachers' busy schedules, please refrain from rescheduling and keep your appointed lesson time. If you need to reschedule, please give at least 24 hours advance notice. If you are absent due to illness or a serious emergency, please contact the teacher as soon as you know that you will not be able to attend the appointed lesson. One make-up lesson per semester/per student will be permitted if prior notice is given at a mutually agreed upon time with the teacher. It is your responsibility to schedule your make-up lesson with the teacher. If a student fails to give reasonable notice in advance, the lesson in question may be forfeited. Please understand that you will be charged and expected to pay for lessons offered, not lessons received.
Other things to know
Attendance
Class fees are nonrefundable and are due regardless of attendance. Regular class attendance is vital to your child's growth and crucial to the success of the class as a whole. If your child needs to be absent for any reason, we ask you to let your child's teacher know in advance so that he/she can plan accordingly. If absences become excessive, the LCS Enrichment Class staff will determine if the student can continue to participate in the class. If class attendance has suffered, the LCS Enrichment Class staff will use discretion to determine if it is the best interest of the child and the class to perform. Dress rehearsal is required. No exceptions. If a student misses a dress rehearsal they will be unable to participate in the performance. This is in the best interest of all involved in the performance.
