Through Liberty's Impact program, Middle School students are mentored and ministered to by Upper School juniors and seniors.
Impact partners high school juniors and seniors with seventh and eighth grade students, in an effort to develop spiritual accountability, learn from each other and model peer discipleship.
Impact leaders are chosen each fall through an application and interview process. Leaders must commit to:
  • Monthly Spiritual Life department training
  • Identifying and meeting with a Spiritual leader, on staff or in the community, from whom they can receive ongoing discipleship, and
  • Actively modeling servant leadership and principled discipleship; glorifying God, in and outside of school
The Spiritual Life department pairs middle school students with Impact leaders based on shared interests.
2018-2019 Impact Leader applications are due Sept. 14, 2018. The application is available here. For more information about Impact, please contact Courtney Smith.
Impact meetings will take place from October to May during activity period.
Impact is a great time to get to help kids with the things you've already been through.
I like Impact because even though you are seeking to change the students you meet with, sometimes they end up changing you for the better more than you change them.
