Preschool students engaged in interactive learning about bears as they prepared for “Bear HIbernation Day” with their teddy bears on Oct. 19.
All week, students studied bears by playing games and executing learning concepts. Students graphed bears by color, categorized bears by size, and colored a drawing of a bear to resemble their own.
On Bear Hibernation Day, students dressed in pajamas and tucked in their teddy bears for the long winter’s sleep.
Preschoolers sang bear songs to their bears, measured and made snacks for their bears, and read stories about animal hibernation with their bears, all to apply the learning they gained about bears through their hands-on lessons throughout the curriculum that week.
