Third to fifth grade students showcased their first-rate math skills at the annual Association of Christian Schools (ACSI) Math Olympics at St. Paul’s Preparatory Academy in Arlington on Feb. 15.
Chosen through qualifying tests at Liberty, students competed in computation and reasoning skills that involved advanced mathematics beyond the classroom. They sharpened their numerical skills using DreamBox and Reflex learning software, along with mastering sample tests and problems.
“I am extremely proud of these students,” said teacher Carrie Baller. “They worked so hard, and God honored their efforts.”
Congratulations to the following ribbon-winning students: Caleb Combs – superior ribbon (3rd place), Wyatt Keeler – good ribbon, Owen Kempf – superior ribbon (1st place), Cade Miller – excellent ribbon, Justus Pearsons – excellent ribbon, Palmer Sheldon – excellent ribbon, Hank Riley – superior ribbon (1st place), Trey Stickl – superior ribbon (3rd place), and Ryann Tabor – superior ribbon (5th place).
