Primary School

Vocal Music, Applied Music, and Musical Theatre classes offer Primary School students opportunities to build confidence in singing, acting, creative expression and performance. They gain an understanding of pitch, harmony, and rhythm, and further explore the world of music by playing instruments and learning the basics of reading music.

These are available classes and extracurriculars offered in the Primary School:

• Pre-K Music
• Primary School Music (K-4th grade)
• The Chromatics (5th grade)
• 2nd Grade Worship Team
  • The 2nd Grade Worship Team works with our Primary School Pastor and with Upper School Intro to Worship students to lead worship in the K-2nd grade chapels. They learn about what it means to have a heart of worship through singing, speaking and running technology.
• 5th Grade Worship Team
  • The 5th Grade Worship Team works with our Primary School Pastor and with Upper School Intro to Worship Students to lead worship in the 3rd-5th grade chapels. They learn about the what it means to have a heart of worship through singing, speaking and running technology.

Middle School

Treble Tones is our Middle School choir open to anyone in Middle School who likes to sing. Students will explore a broad range of music from classical to pop. This course is an introduction to vocal music and production, sight-singing, music theory, and worship. There is  a fall concert, a Christmas concert, a spring showcase, as well as the potential to sing at other venues, such as the National Anthem at sporting events.

Upper School

Chorale is our Upper School choir open to anyone Upper School who likes to sing. This group sings serious repertoire as well as pop and Broadway styles of music. Students learn to read music, sing with proper vocal technique, and perform in various venues. Chorale participates in TAPPS regional and state competitions. This exciting group is challenged to reach its full potential.

Introduction to Worship and Worship Culture introduces students to leading the body of Christ in worship through the art of music. Students worship together and learn more about instruments, singing, harmonizing and songwriting. Students also participate in the Christmas Concert, Artist's Garden, chapels, Nights of Worship, and TAPPS competitions.
