We have found this to be an incredible resource with creative action steps for how to manage the relationship with technology as Christ-followers. Author Andy Crouch helps readers create vision for their families with how to use technology as a tool “to develop wisdom, character, and courage in the way we use digital media rather than accepting technology’s promises of ease, instant gratification, and the world’s knowledge at our fingertips.”

He also shares in-depth research from the Barna Group (which is another great resource!) that explains how the choices we make about technology have consequences we may have never considered. “Anyone who has felt their family relationships suffer or their time slip away amid technology's distractions will find in this book a path forward to reclaiming their real life in a world of devices.”

Lower School will be using the Explorer Bible CSB in K-5th grade Spiritual Life classes. This Bible would be great to have at home! It has "Excavating the Past" illustrations, "Exploring Creation" facts and images, "Character Field Guides" about important people in the Bible, "Discovering the Truth" callouts for application, and "Charting History" illustrated timelines that are easy to understand.

This book tells biblical stories in an engaging way while connecting every story to the overarching plan of salvation through Jesus. This book is often referenced book in Preschool Chapel; however, it is a great resource for kids of all ages.
