Availability is on a grade-by-grade basis. In Upper School, availability may be dependent upon class size and the particular classes your student is interested in taking.

The wait pool is a list of qualified candidates for each grade. The wait pool is NOT a prioritized wait list. As openings become available in each grade, the Admissions Committee meets to determine which candidate can best fill the open spot.

Wait pools do not carry over from one school year to the next.

The backbone of our written curriculum is made up of a set of aligned standards adopted to provide a logical, sequential, learning pathway toward developing the knowledge and skills for students to progress to the next level in each subject area in their grade level. To build this set of aligned standards, we have adopted learning objectives from the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), Advanced Placement (AP), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL), and the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards.

A variety of textbooks and supplementary resources are used to support teachers in designing student-centered learning experiences to gain the knowledge and skills contained in the written curriculum.  Since we know that “all truth is God’s truth,” we are open to using textbooks and resources from both Christian publishers and publishers not specifically affiliated with our faith. Our teachers are intentionally trained to infuse each unit of their curriculum with the truths of God’s Word and to teach each subject from a Biblical Worldview.  We are committed to using wisdom and discernment in our choice of curricular resources and to teaching our students to develop and exercise wisdom and discernment as they use the resources as well.

In pre-kindergarten, we offer a 3-day (MWF) and a 5-day per week program. Our Bridge class is a 5-day per week program.
 
All pre-kindergarten classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2:45 p.m. Before-school care (7:45-8:20 a.m.) and after-school care (2:45-6 p.m.) are available at an additional charge.

The Admissions Committee carefully considers many aspects leading to the potential success of the student. The admissions test is only one aspect of the criteria.

Applications of siblings are reviewed and have priority over other first-time applicants. However, current family status does not guarantee a child’s admission into Liberty.

Liberty Christian School is a non-profit organization completely independent from a particular church. We reach out to Christian families of all denominations. We keep our focus on Jesus Christ, the central message of God’s Word. We emphasize the teaching of Bible truths as related to all facets of life.
