The Primary School is designed to foster a lifelong love of learning and to encourage students to grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
The curriculum is challenging, creative, and comprehensive, with an emphasis on developing a strong foundation in language arts, history, mathematics, science, and the arts. A biblical worldview is woven throughout.
In addition to daily Bible time, Primary School K-5th students participate in chapels and spiritual life classes with the Primary School Pastor. The Spiritual Life focus during these formative years is discipleship. We want students to build a firm foundation of God’s truth from the Bible and the Holy Spirit, as we mentor students into authentic, genuine, Christ-centered believers. Prekindergarten and Bridge students experience joyful, exuberant worship and Bible lessons applicable for their age level. Spiritual Life for this age focuses on the lifelong love, joy, and peace that come from personally knowing God.
Pre-K and Bridge hours are from 8:20 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Kindergarten through 5th grade hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Both follow the school calendar for holidays and breaks.
Nutritional meals are served every day. Faculty members are on duty each morning beginning at 7:45 a.m. to supervise students who arrive early. After-care is available at an additional charge.
Liberty Christian believes that every child is uniquely designed as a gift from God. For students aged 4 to 5, we offer a high quality preschool education in a warm, nurturing environment with Christian guidance and encouragement.
Our creative curriculum encourages growth spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. We want our preschoolers to learn academic fundamentals, grow in social maturity, understand that Jesus loves them, and develop an intellectual curiosity that solidifies a foundation of lifelong learning.
Students must be 3 years old by Sept. 1 of the academic year and fully potty-trained to enter Preschool. Students must be 4 years old by Sept. 1 to enter Pre-K, and 5 years old by Sept. 1 to enroll in the optional Bridge class.
Lower School fosters a lifelong love of learning. With the belief that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), teachers engage students in classroom experiences that honor each child’s learning through the use of small group and differentiated instruction. We want students to leave Lower School with a love for the Lord and a confidence that they can make our world a better place.
