*Courses that fulfill the requirements of each core component may differ by college and university. Each time you take a course at Liberty Christian that fits the Texas CORE you are potentially progressing toward your degree from any public institution of higher education in the state. The public institution of higher education in Texas is obligated to take your dual credit/dual enrollment credits that you earned as a student at Liberty Christian that are Texas CORE courses.

Liberty Christian offers more than one way to earn your Texas CORE credits. Many Dual Credit, OnRamps, and Advanced Placement courses are part of the Texas CORE. There are many courses offered through LCS that can fulfill the Texas College Core Requirements. When you are deciding which advanced classes to take it is a good idea to pay close attention to the Core areas and make any decisions regarding classes outside the Core based on the college you plan to attend, your degree requirements, and your interests. Courses you take outside the Core may or may not apply to your degree plan. In some cases, you can still use non-Core classes as electives, programs, or courses for credit, but this will vary by institution and degree plan.
