Dr. Rodney and Judy Haire founded Liberty Christian School in 1983, with the vision of offering a quality college preparatory education in a Christian environment. During its first year, the student body grew from 20 to 194. A new facility was purchased, a student council was formed, athletic teams and bands were started to provide unity and school spirit—and Liberty Christian School became a family.

In the summer of 2005, Liberty moved from Denton, Texas, to its new campus 76-acre campus in Argyle. Today student enrollment has reached over 1,250 with a staff of over 170. Liberty continues to reach out to Christian families of all denominations and to emphasize the teaching of Bible truths as related to all facets of life. It is our desire to help develop well-adjusted young people who will be the leaders of tomorrow; individuals who will be equipped to face life, make the right decisions, and then stand by them.
