Spiritual Emphasis

At Liberty, we encourage all students to develop a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We teach students that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and we equip our students with a Biblical worldview. Lower School students are taught Biblical principles that instill character, service, and biblical peacemaking. This joyful and encouraging environment provides many opportunities for spiritual grow and recognizes each child yearly with a unique spiritual character award.

Chapel

Students participate in monthly Chapel that includes praise and worship. It's a special time for our students to express their love for Christ and each other.

Missions

The Lower School emphasizes the importance of caring for those who are less fortunate in spirit, body, and resources. Throughout the year, students visit various nursing homes, support local charities, and pray for those in need. In addition, students write letters of encouragement and support to our Upper School students who travel to Ireland and Uganda.

Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of life at Liberty. Faculty and staff pray for Liberty students and their families daily. Teachers provide an atmosphere of encouragement and support by emphasizing the importance of starting each day with prayer of thanksgiving and with prayer requests.

Biblical Teaching

The Bible Curriculum in the Lower School is A Beka, an accelerated Christian curriculum. Lessons are taught on subjects such as Life of Christ, Salvation, Life of Moses, Life of Peter, Our Daily Walk, and so much more. Students are taught through weekly Bible verse memorization, songs, stories, and Biblical Doctrine.
