Liberty Christian School has won the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools’ Henderson Cup for six out of the last eight years!

In each TAPPS division, the Henderson Cup is an award presented to the overall top school of the year in academics, fine arts, and athletics. Liberty Christian students have earned this award for six of the past seven years. Liberty competes with more than 28 TAPPS schools statewide.

Liberty President and Co-Founder Dr. Rodney Haire said, “To win No. 1 in TAPPS as the Overall Best School is a great accomplishment, but to win it six years out of eight is phenomenal. This achievement represents to our Liberty family how talented the students are in academics, fine arts, and athletics. Way to go students, teachers, coaches and parents — this accomplishment is a great victory, and confirms that we are all becoming what the Lord intended us to be!”
