Academic Advising

The Academic Advising team partners with teachers in the classroom to walk students through Liberty Christian’s college-preparatory curriculum. This team encourages students to use their creativity and God-given abilities as they learn to enrich their minds.Liberty Christian offers Advanced Placement (AP), Honors and Dual Credit courses. In addition to core requirements, students can choose from a wide array of electives in Fine Arts, World Languages, Career and Technology, Physical Education and more.

Some of Liberty's co-curricular opportunities include organizations such as Pre-Med Club, Mandarin Club, Interact Club, Science Olympiad, Leadership Academy and Student Council.

The Upper School educational experience at Liberty is varied and meets the needs of a diverse student population. Core values of respect, responsibility, integrity and excellence permeate the academic, art and athletic components of our school. By working together, students, faculty and parents foster a sense of community within the school.

A dedicated team of exceptional teachers and advisors are committed to guiding students and parents through the Upper School experience. The daily schedule provides time for students to meet with teachers and advisors outside of class for extra help in the learning process and to develop relationships that go beyond academics.

Each spring, guidance counselors meet with students and parents to review the course selection for the next school year. Although students have prepared a four-year plan, there is often an adjustment to accommodate a newly discovered passion or to capitalize on an area of academic strength.

This process focuses on students making a selection of challenging courses in which they can be successful and targeting the curriculum that colleges will value. Our Academic Planning Guide highlights the graduation requirements and provides the courses available for the upcoming school year.
