Liberty Christian School was established with a vision to offer an exemplary college preparatory education in a Christian environment.

The words "rooted" and "grounded" come from one of my favorite Bible passages. The Apostle Paul prays for the Ephesians, that as they are rooted and grounded in love, they may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. That same prayer is my prayer for all of you. The spiritual roots of our school are grounded in Christ's love, and it is His love that drives us toward excellence in all we teach and in all we do.

In Community

Christ's love creates our Liberty family. Our Liberty parents, teachers, and students are seeking the Lord, building friendships, and making a difference in others' lives. Our students are taking the lead and enjoying the family bond of our school.

In Vision

Liberty is embarking on a monumental campaign, "Great Expectations," which will address the immediate needs of our school and provide a bold and exciting vision for the future. Our Master Plan Committee and Board of Trustees have presented a $20.9 million vision that will include a beautiful Performing Arts Center and a new Upper School building that will accommodate the flow of Middle School students into the present Upper School building. A feasibility study revealed that the Liberty family was unified and in agreement with the necessity and value of the project.

In Fun

Children are fun! I believe a school has to be rooted and grounded in fun to reach children of all ages with the joy of learning. The delight on our students' faces in class and in the hallways makes everything we do worthwhile. You'll enjoy reading about some old and new traditions that help make Liberty rooted and grounded in fun.
